The Europol robot investigator Gesicht is trying to discover what has killed some of the greatest robots on the planet. In the first chapters, Urasawa brings us to the location of one of the murders, where we first learn all about the robot. It triggers the question of what actually killed those powerful robots (another robot or human?) and what the actual motive behind the murder is.
